Visit Blog after Blog and you'll find some sort of badge on the side touting "what I'm listening to."
Music has been important part of personal identities for... who knows... you... you in the shorts.. what do you think?
Having that music badge; is it akin to the lowrider blaring his tunes or more like sharing a mix-tape with the world?
In any case, I've been "hard" at "work" creating a mix using Pandora and was quite thrilled to find the right plugins so that Last.FM would display those tunes.
Watch and see a little more about who I am now and then.

I watch plenty of TV with my daughter. We see Elmo a lot. He's been around since about 1985. he's had his own segment on Sesame Street since about the late 90's.
I giggled when I imagined him doing segments for the older kids...
"You know; the periodic table of elements!"

So - there was the biannual school shoot-up yesterday.
It's been awhile since we had our semiannual bomb threats at Palmyra.
School violence is sad and scary. Susan & I used to assume that if I was caught in the middle of a potential shoot-out, I'd be that nut-case-of-a-teacher that would growl at the kid to just hand over the gun..."And stop shooting me. Now , who's going to clean up the mess, young man?!"
Now that I NEED to get home to my kids, I doubt that scenario will ever come to fruition anymore. Heck - I drove a totalled car home just to make dinner.
While the Virginia shooting was horrendous, I can only imagine that some folks at the 24-hour news channels are heaving a sigh of relief. How much can you report about Anna Nicole, Don Imus, and the daily Iraq violence before we stop caring?
Now there's a chance that the daily bombings in Iraq will once again seem like "real news" and get the public attention more than model and musician mommies.
